Ignite Hubs is a volunteer run charity for children and young people. We pioneer innovative and exciting ways for children and young people to learn, develop and progress that is accessible to all. <p>Develop skills in Maths, Science and Technology while exploring the fascinating world of STEM.</p><p>Please book one, two or all three days. Please prepare a packed lunch for your child.</p><p><br></p><h3><strong><strong>Wednesday - 23 July 2025, 10am to 3pm</strong></strong></h3><h4><strong><strong>Cricket &amp; Coding</strong></strong></h4><p>Computer scientists and data analysts play a vital role in modern sports, using technology to unlock insights that improve player performance and game strategy. In this workshop you will improve your cricketing skills using micro:bits!</p><p><br></p><h4><strong><strong>Robotics</strong></strong></h4><p>Search and Rescue: Robots are used for search and rescue operations. Put yourself in the engineer's seat and programme a robot to navigate a maze and simulate the challenges of finding a safe path through disaster zones.</p><p><br></p><h3><strong><strong>Thursday - 24 July 2025, 10am to 3pm</strong></strong></h3><h4><strong><strong>Football &amp; Computing</strong></strong></h4><p>What decisions do football managers need to make during a game? How can computers make decisions? Learn about decision trees in computing and how to face the tricky decisions football managers must make.</p><p><br></p><h4><strong><strong>AI</strong></strong></h4><p>What makes an AI? How can we successfully train an AI model? Explore building your very own AI model.</p><p><br></p><h3><strong><strong>Thursday - 31 July 2025, 10am to 3pm</strong></strong></h3><h4><strong><strong>Space &amp; Data</strong></strong></h4><p>From the dazzling images of distant galaxies captured by space telescopes to the everyday snapshots on our phones, images are more than just pictures – they are data. But how does a satellite or telescope “see” space?</p><p><br></p><h4><strong><strong>Magic &amp; Computer Science</strong></strong></h4><p>When you learn to be a magician, it turns out you are also learning the skills needed to be a great computer scientist: computational thinking.</p>
