Chelmsford Science and Engineering Society (CSES) is the hub of Engineering, Technology and Science in Chelmsford, Essex and the surrounding areas.Our objectives and purpose can be summarised in three words:explore · educate · expandOur missionExplore:advance public engagement in science, engineering and technology.Educate:develop tomorrow's scientists, engineers and technologists through high-quality and inclusive STEM education and by promoting STEM careers.Expand:provide a social and professional network for members.

<h2>Come along to this exciting FREE networking session.</h2><h3>Join us for tea and cake. Meet teachers and STEM Ambassadors, learn about the latest FREE opportunities available for teachers and STEM Ambassadors to get involved in.</h3><p>There will be tours of ARU’s cutting-edge lab facilities, presentations from students currently taking part in CSES’ <em>Fresh Air Fresh Thinking</em> project and a workshop on STEM communication and science capital. Plus an informal gathering after in the student union café / bar for those who wish to stay! </p><p><em>Fresh Air Fresh Thinking</em> is a major new science, technology and computing project for primary and secondary schools. Using a Raspberry Pi, air quality sensors and meteorological equipment, participating students are conducting investigations into air quality and climate across Essex.
