Ready to apply for Arts Council funding but don’t know where to start?

The 2-Step Process is a clear, practical route designed for artists and small organisations who want expert guidance, space to think, and a roadmap to action.

This training and reflection space gives you time to explore your ideas, choose the right funding route, and map out your next steps with expert guidance along the way.

How it works

  • Everyone starts with Step 1: Getting Started (1.5hrs). Book here if you haven't already.
  • You then choose either Step 2a (DYCP) or Step 2b (NLPG)
  • To get the most of the session, please bring a project idea to your chosen 3-hour session
  • You will leave with practical tools, expert advice, and a personalised roadmap for your application

This workshop is Step 2a: Applying for Developing your Creative Practice

For artists with a clear project idea focused on their own development.

  • What ACE looks for in a DYCP application
  • How to frame and present your idea
  • How to strengthen your application

You will leave with a roadmap for your DYCP application.

If you want to apply to a Project Grant, book here instead.

‘After attending three of Jenny’s workshops over several years, I finally applied this year and I have been offered a DYCP grant. Thank you for your clarity and belief.’ - Workshop Participant
