MEET DAVID ► I have been training, teaching and working in the Martial Arts for over 36 years. Shortly after starting my journey I developed a passion for teaching which has stayed with me a lifetime. I started by helping those I found struggling around me and progressed to assisting in clubs, taking my own club and from there progressed to National coach, Country rep and then became Chairman of a world-wide group.EXPERTISE ► I have trained with giants in their fields like Soke Robert Clark, Spartico Bertoletti and in more recent years Steve Maxwell and patrick McKeown. My training with Steve, Patrick and other top coaches has lead me to developing courses in Breath-work for both stress management and athletic performance and strength training geared towards the busy business person with limited time and facilities. This proven techniques and systems have supported my transformation in own personal life, athletic career, and business as well as those of my coaching clients. I teach that breath is the most important asset we have and most do not understand its use, I teach that weakness and muscular stiffness in not a necessary part of aging and I give my students the keys to good health.MY STORY ► I struggled in school, I was shy, had undiagnosed Dyslexia and had what was put across as “Nervous Asthma”. As a teenager, my life was turned around when I started my first Ju Jitsu class, the martial arts group I head is the largest in the country. I love teaching, I am passionate about helping others. I enjoy travel, family time and I'm now going more into the softer arts of Breath-work and mobility.EVENTS ► I run events across Northern Ireland and travel internationally – I teach seminars in Ju Jitsu, Breath-work and strength & mobility.
