Specimen Records have been making ground in the last two years with the birth of Spectro, both vinyl and digital outputs with now a fine roster of artists to showcase. Here we bring together the success of RIP since 88 into the most recent STIMULUS with electro hybrids such as D&amp;B, breakbeat, and dub. A funky fusion of dark and deep electronica on the cusp of a new sound. Specimen has definitely carved its very own style in the world of electro.The label is pushing the talents of the internationals Francois Dillinger, Arsonist Recorder, Sound Synthesis, Parand, Serge Geyzel, Jauzas The Shining, Telephasycx! SMPL SMPL, and Ivna Ji, throughout 2022. Expect some groundbreaking performances and Dj sets, albums and EP’S alike!

A young artist from Lithuania, recently featured on MINDFRAME deep space radio. He was schooled to master saxophone according to strict classical education by globally renowned lecturers has already proven his skills in numerous competitions although the discovery of a passion for electronic music production now seems to have taken over a large part of his life.As his curiosity for music began to grow beyond classical arrangements he followed his journey through different genres. Avant-garde, Jazz as well as Contemporary Classical music have made a big influence, while electronic music culture is what fuels the inspiration.Simas’ work is characterized by free-form improvisation, sound experiments, and the integration of acoustic instrument timbres into dance music genres.Forming his own unique style to make his way to the electro scene with the releases on such labels as Brokntoys, Specimen Records, Roulette Rekordz, FSS, Discos Deleite, Play4n4 Records, Platz fur Tanz and more. Hosting his own weekly podcast series "BETAMAX" on Play4n4 Radio for over a year now to support Electro community around the world.This is a live performance and launch of his debut EP Mistika details of this release to follow

Dez WilliamsHoly Island, an island off of the coast of North Wales is where Dez Williams begun spinning wax at an early age and now maintains his humble analogue / digital studio. Isolated from the marketing, fashion and pretentious attitudes that plague the music industry, Dez is free to express himself through his machines. Safe from this environment he is unconstrained and has no urge to conform with any ideal or aesthetic and thus his electronic music is pure self expression. A window into his soul. His day job at an electronic components factory means that he is no stranger to repetition, rhythm and electronics. His sound is perhaps a product of his daily grind with boredom, escapism, events in his life and a long term passion for technology, horror and science fiction. Inspired by many of the classic Chicago / Detroit / electro / techno producers, like the finest, his sound is unique, uncompromising and unpredictable. His vision of techno is deep and futuristic with a heavy dose of funk. Dez's passion for sound and the darker side of the human spirit compels him to create tracks on an almost daily basis and he sits on an incredibly vast archive of cassettes, mini-discs and CD's of his work. Yet his reclusive nature dictates that his release schedule remains sparse. His tracks can range from driving techno, to melancholy and dark synthesizer orchestrations, ghostly deep listening, straight up electro cuts and beyond. Sometimes simple, sometimes complex, within his sounds are vast amounts of detail for the listener to decipher. Emotions transmitted through mathematics and code. Williams' tracks have found their way into the sets of DJ's like Dave Clarke, Andrea Parker, Adam X, John Peel, Mike Dred, Nina Kraviz, HelenaHauff and DJ Stingray.He has constantly retained an underground / cult fanbase. His debut LP 'Elektronik Religion' for the SCSI label was hailed as "One of the very few truly great electro albums of the new century". Dez remains true to the underground and simply creates for the love and need to do so. The mark of a true artist. Errorbeauty has been meticulously piecing together her impressive catalogue of releases since beginning DJing back in 2003.A professional flute musician by way of background, she gradually became drawn to electronic music’s intricately textured soundscapes - more specifically the broken, aggressive shades of Detroit Electro and Techno. Her work continues to evolve and offers listeners a distinct reflection of Motor City’s relationship with the genre whilst demonstrating her own unique perspective of Electro, which brought her four times to the legendary club Tresor. While living in Berlin she has performed at Berlin’s underground event series Skizze in OHM as well as Bold, Exquisite Berlin and Disobedient Circumstance at Suicide Circus Berlin to name a few and was a resident Dj at the well respected Suicide Circus Berlin club. Errorbeauty has previously released music for Arkada ,Earthlings ,Crobot Muzik ,Combat Recordings,Section 27,Subsonic Device,The Electro Compendium,Zodiak Commune Records,Outlaw 303 and has contributed a track together with Serge Geyzel for Pyramid Transmissions PTV15 compilation.Another track of her own on Zwaartekracht 3.A and a track of her production that was released on Pyramid Transmissions label from the amazing compilation Interstellar Communications Vol 2.1s. In 2018 together with XOR12, she launched the Electro/Techno record label Arkada Records with already 3 vinyl releases ahead. Coming soon is Arkada 004 featuring the sounds of ADJ and Adrien D’Elzius Recently she was invited to play at the mighty Boiler Room X Faza Sofia that took a place in her homeland Bulgaria. Paul Hierophant: Musician, DJ, producer and remixer. Since his first club residencies in 1988 Paul has remained devoted to underground music. His DJ sets are journeys into the varied shades and tones of dance music. His live sets fuse dub techno, electro and ambience. In addition to his hierophant dubplates, Paul has released music on Exalt records, Diffuse Reality, Roulette Rekordz, Pulse State and CyberSoul. Forthcoming music for 2022 includes albums and eps for old friends and new labels; the journey continues… Paul also hosts the “State of Play” radio show. ETAKA London based artist EKATA is self-described as genre and sound obsessive. She has built a reputation as a huge advocate for purist Electro and a creator of a dark and warped experience. Her sound best personifies ominous grooves, slamming beats and obvious sci-fi fixations which embody her carefully picked selections and the journey she takes you on in each of her mixes.Her Electro shows on Netil Radio &amp; Guest mixes with the legendary Bass Agenda, Science Cult &amp; Hilltown Disco to name a few, have turned the heads of some of the most respected and well established artists of the underground scene.EKATA is currently working on her own productions which are set to release this year.
