Stories of Wonder and Wisdom from Rumi

King Mahmud devises a test of loyalty and devotion for select high-ranking officials of his royal court involving a lustrous pearl.
Waters of Paradise
Nafisa and Harith eke out a subsistence livelihood from the wilderness of the desert until they discover heavenly water worthy of the Sultan of Baghdad. Despite their predicament, they decide that the Sultan must savour this delicacy. On the ensuing journey, Harith discovers that there is so much more to life than sand and heat and that the workings of Providence are unfathomable.
Queen Bilquis decrees that two teams of artists will wage beauty to determine whose work of art will win the hearts of her people. A contest ensues that re-defines the very nature of art.
