A practical dance workshop with Rita Marcolo (Instant Dissidence) on strategies for devising activist choreographic work

As part of The Rebellion Activity Day, come and learn more about activist choreography and strategies for creating this kind of work in a practical workshop led by Rita Marcolo of Instant Dissidence. Please wear comfortable loose clothing and socks.Later in the day, Instant Dissidence will perform The Rebellion and you are encouraged to come back for this performance (6.30pm), where you will see the strategies taught in the workshop put into practice:In October 2018 the United Nations warned that we have 12 years to limit climate change catastrophe. When that year comes, the year of 2030, we (the dancers in this piece) will be 30 years old. When that year comes, we will either have a future, or we won&#x27;t. The Rebellion is not just a performance.
