An invaluable session on defining microaggressions, what they are, and their impact.

The webinar will cover: <ul><li>Defining microaggressions in a racial context </li></ul><ul><li>Race and racialisation </li></ul><ul><li>Impact </li></ul><ul><li>Managing conversations </li></ul>This is followed by a question and answer session. Questions will need to be submitted in advance to: admin@strawberrywords.co.uk by Monday 19th October. After purchasing your ticket, you will receive a confirmation email containing the Zoom login details and how to join the meeting.This session is led by Rebbecca Hemmings, Director of Strawberry Words Ltd. She has been working in the field cultural identity for the last twenty years. She is a founding member of Blackstory Partnership (Birmingham’s Black History Month organisation), is a committee member for West Midlands Police’s Data Analytics Lab, has successfully led organisations such as Birmingham Hippodrome and the National Criminal Justice Arts Alliance to improve their cultural diversity and has led hundreds of workshops and training sessions for children and professionals, UK wide.
