This training opportunity for the NTE staff who may come across individuals at risk of serious violence and exploitation and is fully funded by the Violence Reduction Partnership.
We have 16 spaces available at each session on the 1st May 2024, between 10am-12pm and 2pm-4pm at the Forum Coffee Shop. Spaces will be attributed on a first come first serve basis.

The session, aimed at NTE staff, covers the following:
1. What to do if someone is bleeding
How to call an ambulance if someone has been stabbed and give emergency first aid.
Also covers the medical impacts of violence such as blood loss.
2. What to do if someone is knocked out
How to call an ambulance and give emergency first aid by using the recovery position or doing CPR.
Also covers the dangers of being knocked out.
Light refreshments will be provided.
