Islington's Standing Together Fortnight

From 15th – 26th July we're highlighting the exceptional services on offer to young people in Islington.  Check out some of the activities designed to empower young people to make positive choices and lead change in our community.

(﻿10AM slot also available, please look on Eventbrite) The training sessions:1. What to do if someone is bleeding How to call an ambulance if someone has been stabbed and give emergency first aid. Also covers the medical impacts of violence such as blood loss.2. What to do if someone is knocked out How to call an ambulance and give emergency first aid by using the recovery position or doing CPR. Also covers the dangers of being knocked out.3. What to do in a real-life incident – scenario workshopEmbeds young people’s learning through first aid scenarios,further building young people’s confidence to act in a medical emergency.A﻿ building tour is offered to residence at 5:30pm please feel free to attend.
