Bicycle Adventure Club ride with a Strength &amp; Conditioning workout to help you become a stronger rider.

Brindley Place

No need for dumbbells or gym membership! This will be a chance to learn some easy exercises to help keep you strong through the winter and find an excuse to get outdoors.C﻿ome and join the Bicycle Adventure Club on a welcoming &amp; friendly workout ride.The W&S sessions will consist of a short city based ride of around 2 hours, stopping at a suitable location to learn some strength &amp; conditioning exercises using your own body weight, water bottles and bicycles; using reps &amp; to help with balance. We’ll concentrate on functional movements to help strengthen the muscles you use least when cycling, but which hurt most the day after an all terrain ride.The sessions will take place come rain or shine. We will find some form of cover for the workout, so be prepared to ride in the rain.I﻿f you ride in clips it may be best to bring a pair of flat shoes for the workout part of the ride.Session Format11am meet at Brindley Place on the steps outside Eds Easy Diner20 minute warm up ride30-45 minute workoutCool down rideCoffee social and Bicycle chat.
