Long term stress is a modern day pandemic in our society. We now know it is a precursor to many illnesses, along with having a detrimental effect on our emotional wellbeing.
In this 2 hour workshop we will take you through the effects that stress has on our body and show you how to manage your stress levels through:
Aromatherapy – Which essential oils are great for the different aspects of stress and how to use them in our everyday lives.
Massage – Techniques that help to calm the mind as well as the body and what effects massage has on our nervous and parasympathetic systems
Nutrition – Find out which nutrients may become depleted during stress, which foods can help to support stress and what foods should be avoided
Meditation – We’ll end the workshop with a guided 15 mins Kundalini Mediation session that concentrates on breath, mudras and mantra and will enable you to clear your subconscious mind. This great for stress repair, clearing anger, achieving mental balance, self-healing as well as aiding restful sleep.
All attendees will also have the chance to win a 30 mins massage and a 30 mins Diet MOT, and will leave with a destress essential rollerball created by Made by Pure Hands that can be applied to pulse points.
