SpecialEffect are proud to present, in collaboration with game designers and writers <a href="https://www.patreon.com/rpgtoons" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">RPG Toons</a> and <a href="http://www.r-n-w.net/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">R-N-W</a>, an RPG-game inspired fitness challenge that is a unique and fun take on the traditional step challenge.Throughout this distance-based adventure you&#x27;ll be guided by a unique StrideQuest map and story. As you cover the miles, you’ll unlock and reveal more segments of the map and instalments of the tale, discovering new and wonderful lands. By the end of your challenge, you’ll have completed the full map and found the cure to the mysterious illness! What’s involved? With two distances to choose from - 50 miles or 100 miles - there’s an achievable challenge for everyone, whether you’re looking for a family activity, wanting to compete with friends or colleagues or are just looking for a new challenge. Taking part couldn&#x27;t be easier – all you need is a fitness app (such as Strava or Google Fit on your phone, or a smartwatch) to record the distances you cover. How to take part StrideQuest will initially be open from the 1st April to 31st May. You can sign up at any point during this period and you&#x27;ll need to complete your chosen challenge within two months from your first recorded walk. You can complete the distance walking, jogging or running, using a treadmill, or covering the distance in your wheelchair or adapted bike. If you&#x27;d like to enter as a team and cover a larger distance between you, please get in touch to discuss a bespoke arrangement. So what are you waiting for? Earn the beautifully illustrated limited edition StrideQuest map and t-shirtAlthough there is no obligation to fundraise, we have some amazing incentives if you choose to do so. Your fundraising will support the work of SpecialEffect and you can celebrate your achievement with a beautiful, limited edition print of the full quest map and a limited edition StrideQuest t-shirt.After registering for the challenge, you&#x27;ll need to set up a JustGiving fundraising page. This will be linked to SpecialEffect’s StrideQuest campaign. To be eligible for the print, all you need to do is raise £25 or more, and £50 for the t-shirt (to cover the cost of production and postage) and complete the challenge!TicketsIndividuals - Opt for the &#x27;Individual&#x27; ticket when registering.Groups Together - in the same household/will be doing the event together (such as families, couples or bespoke arrangements agreed with SpecialEffect) choose the &#x27;Group Together&#x27; ticket. You will then need to answer the relevant question to say how many are in your group.Teams – not in the same household/workplace teams. If you will be walking on your own and not working towards a joint, bespoke distance, you will all need to register as individuals. You can tell us that you&#x27;re in a team, how many are in the team and what your team name is.
