STRIKE EASTER INTENSIVE - APRIL 2026

A three hour lyrical and jazz intensive dance class with Sarah Kerr and guest choreographer Olivia O'Brien!!

STRIKE EASTER INTENSIVE IS HERE!!!

After the huge sucess of our Winter Intensive we are back on Monday 13th April!!

STRIKE will be holding another intensive with STRIKE owner - Sarah Kerr and guest teacher Olivia O'Brien, a very well known and loved choreographer who we are lucky to have teaching on this day!

This is NOT a competition, it is a chance for your dancers to learn some fun choreography, improve their technique and meet new friends from other dance schools in a stress free environment, although there will be some fun awards and prizes to be won on the day.

This is NOT affiliated with any dance school and we hope you can encourage your dancers to attend and keep up their training whilst in the Easter break.

MONDAY 13TH APRIL

DN STUDIOS, 9b South Gyle Crescent, EDINBURGH, EH12 9EB (just off the motorway!)

JUNIOR INTENSIVE : 1pm - 4pm(P1 - P7)

P7/S1 pupils may move sessions, ask their teachers for advice.

SENIOR INTENSIVE : 4:30pm - 7:30pm (S1+)

P7/S1 pupils may move sessions, ask their teachers for advice.

COST : £30 per dancer (plus booking fee)

STRIKE EASTER INTENSIVE T SHIRTS : £15 (all sizes available, these are optional and will be given out on the day)

STRIKE HOODIES (not intesive specific) : £30 (all sizes available, these are optional and will be given out on the day)

HOODIE AND T SHIRT PACKAGE : £40 (discount applies at checkout)

DANCE/PORTRAIT PHOTOSHOOTS WITH RORY MACLEOD

This intensive we are also offering photography sessions with Rory Macleod, these will be held in the studios and will be available to book at time slots throughout the day when dancers are not in class.

COST : £75 per slot.

30 minutes per slot with 7 fully retouched/edited photos included.

Rory Macleod is a professional dancer currently dancing in Swan Lake with Matthew Bourne, Rory works as a photgrapher across the UK in his breaks from dancing on tour and we are delighted he will be joining us for this one off session!

This is available to all dancers of every level, Rory is great at helping pick poses and styles of photos to capture a dancers personality and technique to the highest level!

WHAT WILL WE LEARN ON THE DAY?

The day will begin with a warm up and stretch before carrying on with some technique combos. We will then split our time between lyrical/contemporary AND Jazz/MT, learning two separate routines.

WHAT SHOULD I BRING?

Just yourself, some water and a snack! Wear comfortable dance clothing and bring a smile, ready for lots of fun!!

WHO IS THIS AIMED AT?

For dancers of all levels, the only thing we recommend is that dancer's take part in regular classes, we will make choreography suitable for all levels with options to make routines easier or more difficult on the way.

Spaces are limited for this event and we expect another sell out day so book while spaces last!!
