Create your own optical art with string and nails!

In this session you will learn how to make your own piece of perfectly hammered string art. We&#x27;ll be working with nails and brightly coloured string to create vibrant artwork. There will be lots of easy to follow patterns provided, but feel free to bring your own ideas. This involves a lot of hammering so be prepared for that! I&#x27;ll bring ear plugs.Sewing Skill Level: BeginnerYou’ll need: NothinG!Materials included: Wood board, string, templates, nailsLed by: Kim SearleHealthy &amp; Safety: during the workshop everyone will have their own materials and tools. Sanitiser and disinfectant will be available. If you feel unwell please let us know and stay home.Course conditions:the workshop needs minimum numbers to run. In the unlikely event it doesn&#x27;t meet this the workshop will be cancelled. Your booking is secured by payment and if you choose to cancel you get a refund up to 7 days before the event however after that no refund can be given. Please don’t arrive more than 10 minutes before the workshop starts, unless previously discussed.This workshop is part of Thread Republics pop up at the Piazza. We’ll be running a program of workshops, drop in, activities and more alongside a textile scrap store.
