About this event
Have you ever found yourself agreeing to do something you didn’t really want to do?
Going to a party when you wanted to stay home? Agreeing to a favour you didn't have the capacity to handle?
Eating something you didn’t want because you wanted to be polite?
Why do we all struggle with saying no and setting boundaries? We want to avoid confrontation, habitually say yes or fear we'll be rejected or disliked.
But what if setting boundaries was actually an act of compassion, rather than a source of shame?
Brené Brown famously says that the most compassionate people are the people best at setting boundaries. Real compassion is all about giving openly and lovingly, with a full heart. When we give beyond what we are willing to give, we become resentful and lose our capacity for compassion.
Invest 30 minutes in yourself to improve your compassion, relationships, energy levels, time management, and overall happiness & wellbeing.
This workshop will help you to
- Learn how to say no, and yes.
- Understand how boundaries are acts of kindness.
- Become more aware of your emotions and triggers.
- Feel more at ease at dealing with difficult or strong emotions.
Keep learning with us
Every month for the next 12 months, Centrd Life will be hosting a free workshop to help you cultivate a stronger connection to your bodily sensations and as a result, improve your emotional awareness.
As we go through this journey together, we help you strip away layers of habitual behaviour that once helped you cope and develop better habits in line with who you can be.
With these new habits, we learn to set boundaries without building walls, create better relationships with ourselves and others and become better & compassionate leaders.
