The Maker Space is looking for students to join their new Student Instructor Programme, new starters welcome.
The Maker Space is looking for students to join their new Student Instructor Programme.
The Student Instructor Programme provides: Out-of-hours access to the Maker Space – initially 4:30 pm to 7:30 pm twice a week, with the potential to extend.
Sign up and come down to the Maker Space to meet the team and see the extensive variety of technologies that you will be able to learn and use.
Benefits of becoming a student instructor:
- Priority on specialist and certified machine training – Perfect for your CV!
- Bespoke student instructor sessions.
- Priority on live briefs and paid work opportunities.
Student instructor responsibilities:
- Work in and manage the Maker Space unsupervised.
- Understand the rules of working in the Maker Space and oversee other users.
- Support students in learning how to use laser cutters and 3D printers.
- Provide a welcoming and accessible environment for new students – There are no such things as stupid questions in the Maker Space!
