CONNECT. Meet the HSJ Value Award-winning district nursing team from Whittington Health NHS Trust who are setting new standards across Haringey and Islington, London. Lead by Lisa Basi, they are using technology to manage their capacity and demand management, with great results. The team were recognised by HSJ and picked up the award for 'Community Health Service Redesign' for their successful implementation of smart scheduling system - eCommunity, which has helped them to achieve significant time and cost savings at the Trust. Having also scooped an Allocate Award in 2017, the team are keen to share their learnings to help other community nursing teams who can gain from their experience.
