Summer Solstice 2026

This year we are doing things a bit different, BIGGER!!

The sun rises at 4.31am and sets at 9.25pm - that is nearly 17 hours of glorious midsummer light, and we intend to make the most of every single one of them.

Here's how the day unfolds:

4am: Sunrise & Sauna - Join us in the early hours to watch the sun come up together, followed by an optional sunrise sauna session.(adults only) There is something truly magical about being present for that first light on the longest day of the year.

6am: Breakfast & Community Cooking - After the sauna, you're welcome to stay on the land and cook together. A communal breakfast, good food, good people - the best kind of morning. Bring something to cook on the barbeque/campfire. We will have hot drinks, orange juice, croissants, and Bircher available, but please bring meat (bacon, sausages etc) if you want to cook those., and anything else you want to add to the shared breakfast, anyone bake sourdough?!!

A Day on the Land - Spend the day however calls to you. Get your hands in the soil and help out in our organic garden, wander the land, or simply slow down and chill. No agenda, just presence, or leave for a bit, let it all settle, and come back for sunset.

8.45pm: Sunset & Drumming - As the sun dips towards the river, we gather again - this time with drumming to close out the longest day. Mel from The Sound Sanctuary will be bringing some of her beautiful drums and instruments to drum with us, so please bring along a drum (or instrument) if you want to. Then we will settle around the campfire, and sing and play music late into the night. It promises to be something really special.
