Hi! My name is Chloe. An afternoon to celebrate and balance the energies from the height of summer. Yoga, Ayurveda, Meditation and Sound Bath.

&quot;May the long time sun shine upon youAll love surround youAnd the pure light within youGuide your way home&quot;Originally these words stem from an old Celtic lyric poem and it came into use as an Irish blessing. Now it is frequently used in Kundalini Yoga classes as a closing mantra and you can find a beautiful version of it sung by Snatum Kaur.Summer Solstice! For us in the northern hemisphere it is when we are tilted nearest to the sun. In Pagan communities Summer Solstice is cause to celebrate with bonfires and feasts. To gather together with your communities and rejoice in the glory of the sun! In ancient europe the festival involved rolling giant wheels lit on fire into great bodies of water. This was to symbolise the balance needed between fire and water.You are invited to this My Happy Body special gathering. We will practise some strong breathing techniques and a spicy Yoga flow to connect with our inner Fire and invoke in the energy of transformation; we will learn some cooling breathing techniques and pour water we&#x27;ve each brought with us into a group vase that will then become our focal point for a meditation and sound meditation. The water will become high vibrational blessed water that we can drink or take home to nourish our favourite plants with! There will be delicious iced tea and plant based treats with seasonal ingredients to close the celebration.You will learn practical breathing exercises, enjoy a dynamic yoga practise, hear about the energy of the Sun, understand how to balance the heat of summer according to the teachings of Ayurveda, and enjoy a healing sound meditation and delicious home made Pitta pacifying (fire or heat pacifying) treats.Join My Happy Body for the Summer Solstice Yoga Gathering on Sunday June 25th from 1pm to 4pm at a secluded yoga studio in Berkshire near Maidenhead with indoor and outdoor options weather permitting!Spaces for this gathering are limited to 18.Investment is £50 plus booking fee.
