Join us for a joyful and immersive celebration of the summer solstice through traditional Eastern European music and dance.

In this special workshop, singer and folk practitioner Karolina Wegrzyn will perform some of the most popular Eastern European summer solstice songs and guide participants through a unique singing experience inspired by ancient traditions.

Participants will have the opportunity to learn and sing together using the traditional open voice techniquean ancient style of singing that naturally releases tension in the body and mind. This powerful vocal approach connects our voices with the rhythms and sounds of nature, resonating with the natural environment around us.

Alongside singing, we’ll also explore simple traditional dances and share stories connected to summer solstice celebrations from across Eastern Europe.

Many previous participants say this style of singing is deeply uplifting and therapeutic, leaving them feeling relaxed, energised, and joyful.

No previous singing or dancing experience is required. The workshop will be delivered in English, with opportunities to learn parts of songs in different languages.
