Learn about the support, programmes and development opportunities available to you and your business to help scale up your growth

In this series of Events you will Learn about the support, programmes and development opportunities available to you and your business.

One of the biggest challenges for scaling and growing a business is getting the right information and support to help you along the growth journey successfully. However, there are a lot of programmes and support avenues available to businesses, if you know where to look. But that is part of the problem knowing where to look, and if you find them, knowing what is right for your businesses’ needs.

There are paid for, part-funded and fully funded courses available for all types and levels of businesses. All require different levels of commitment, different criteria for acceptance and different outcomes. So how do you know which one will be right for you and your business?

This is a rare opportunity not only to meet a Pathway Programme Manager but also advocates for their programmes and businesses. Hear from the people that not only deliver the programme but from those that have lived it as well. It is an opportunity to ask questions to truly understand what the programme can offer you and your business and compare and discuss them in an open and honest forum with other like-minded businesses.

The Sounding Board

Aimed at established businesses facing big decisions, this is a unique support opportunity that goes beyond peer-to-peer engagement. As Richard Ross, the pathway lead says ‘learning from your peers is great but, to misquote Rumsfeld, you don’t get to find out about the unknown unknowns. The Sounding Board will introduce to your ecosystem people who have taken businesses to the next level and beyond – think of it as peer-to-peer on steroids! We’ve helped business owners embrace change, develop new strategies and appreciate their abilities.’

The Sounding Board Proposition

• Benefit from between two and four experienced business leaders acting as an external sounding board for your ideas and plans

• Six meeting held over a maximum of fifteen weeks

• Unbiased and experienced feedback, challenge and support for your strategy to grow your business and navigate these uncertain times

How will the companies benefit?

The people involved in The Sounding Board have proven track records in building businesses of scale. Sharing the challenges of building your business with people who have faced similar hurdles is invaluable. At this time in particular, all businesses have to carefully consider their next move. Discussing options with people who have experienced two or three recessions will lead to better decisions – and fewer sleepless nights!

The Sounding Board mentors are unpaid but, if you find our input has been helpful, we ask that you consider a meaningful donation to our Just Giving page where we are supporting the Norfolk Community Foundation
