Sunday Sessions featuring M'Larkey
High-energy Irish and contemporary folk from Devon favourites M’Larkey at HARTA’s Sunday Session. Free entry.
Spend your Sunday the slow way at HARTA retreat as our popular Sunday Sessions continue with the lively and much-loved Devon band M’Larkey.
Set within the peaceful North Devon countryside, these relaxed afternoon gatherings bring together live acoustic music, good food and an easygoing atmosphere — the perfect way to round off the weekend.
Known for their wonderfully eclectic folk sound, M’Larkey blend Irish folk, ceilidh and contemporary acoustic influences into a warm, high-spirited live performance. Their music is rooted in traditional folk energy but delivered with a fresh, engaging style that makes them favourites at festivals, weddings and community events across the region.
Fronted by professional guitarist Mark Presland, and featuring Bill Harvey (host of the popular weekly open mic at The Grampus in Lee Bay), the band bring strong musicianship, tight harmonies and plenty of feel-good energy to every performance.
Whether you come to listen closely or simply to soak up the atmosphere, this promises to be a relaxed and uplifting Sunday afternoon in the tipi.
Doors / Bar Open : 3pm
Music starts: 4pm
FREE entry* / Band Donations Welcome
Food served 4:30- 5:30pm
📍 Where's HARTA?
Situated between Ilfracombe and Combe Martin we're a little off the beaten track, but easily reached by car. Public transport? Not quite caught up yet (classic Devon), so car shares are a good shout. For groups of 4 or more, we'll keep your designated driver happy with free soft drinks.
*All Sunday sessions are free entry, though we encourage donations to the artist. These contributions are voluntary, but without your generosity, the adventure may be short-lived. Your support helps keep the music flowing!
