Our popular Sunday Social monthly walks return! Next one is a Christmas walk and dinner in Marsden
The Sunday Social Hike
Our well established and much loved Sunday Social Hike is back this year!
Our next Sunday Social takes us onto the bold and beautiful moorland and hills around Marsden, West Yorkshire. The National Trust moorland straddles Yorkshire and Lancashire and provides a moody but stunning backdrop in this much loved part of the South Pennines.
We will then finish with a Chirstmas dinner at our friends Peel St. Social in Marsden at 4pm. So this will be an afternoon walk with optional festive dinner and drinks.
The hike should take around 4hrs, rambling across stunning hills and moorland working up a healthy appetite for dinner, drink and a good social after.
We class this walk as intermediate due to the hilly terrain and length. If you haven't walked before or for a long time, we recommend booking on to our other shorter walks, like our Coffee Club walk. We will be walking across uneven paths and trails and will likely be wet and boggy! So please wear appropriate footwear and clothing for the terrain and weather on the day.
Why walk with Good Footing?

When you donate you not only secure your place, you become part of our community to help and support others. As a real community who comes together, we help make a positive difference in our own lives, the communities we live in and to the wider society as a whole. How cool is that!
