About the workshop

In this interactive workshop, that is aimed at students from all years of PhD study, you will get the opportunity to think about

the supervision of your PhD
how other factors are affecting your progress – your research surroundings, your wellbeing, life factors

We will discuss what makes good supervision and the factors that allow you to get the most out of this relationship. We will also cover the challenges of the student/supervisor relationship. Before moving on to discuss how to make the most out of your supervision and empower you to be able to talk with your supervisor on how to ensure your supervision is working well for you. We will also talk through the support that is available to you around the university to help you manage any challenges you may face during your studies.
