Lincoln BIG, through the ERDF funded Collaboration 4 Growth Project is piloting workshops specifically designed to meet the needs of Tourism and Hospitality businesses based in the Lincoln, North Kesteven or West Lindsey areas.  Each of these interactive workshops will be delivered by an expert in a lively and interesting way, providing an opportunity to try out new skills and apply new knowledge to your own business.

A  FREE 2 day programme to introduce and explore the principles of good management practice for the supervisor or manager.

This programme is one of range of FREE workshops provided by Collaboration 4 Growth specifically designed to meet the needs of smaller businesses based in Lincoln, North Kesteven and West Lindsey areas.Delivered by Charles Barnascone of Infinite Possibilities, the programme is aimed specifically at recently appointed managers, supervisors, team leaders or those who have had little or no management development training.Topics to be covered:•	An introduction to management &amp; leadership•	Effective, assertive and motivational communication•	Personal and team organisation•	Delegation, standards and target setting•	Developing teamwork and resolving conflict•	Making effective decisions, and problem solving techniquesBy the end of the programme you will have:•		Explored the role and responsibilities of a supervisor / manager•		Determined your strengths and areas for development as a supervisor•		Identified your preferred management and leadership style and how to adapt•		Developed effective communication skills•	 Explored tools and techniques to manage priorities for you and your team•	 Examined the key components of performance management•		Identified the keys to motivating your team and developing teamworkOnly businesses operating in Lincoln, North Kesteven and West Lindsey are eligible to receive up to 12 hours of business support at no cost thanks to the ERDF project funding. If you wish to attend more than 12 hours of workshops then you may be charged at the commercial rate. To access this workshop, your business must complete an SME enrolment form in order to check the business’ eligibility against the funding criteria. (The form will be sent to you on completion of an Eventbrite booking - if one has not already been completed and on file). Through Eventbrite you are only requesting to book a place on a workshop/masterclass and this delegate place will be confirmed via email once the SME Form and eligibility have been checked.Spaces at these workshops are limited, and therefore we reserve the right to charge a fee for non-attendance without at least 24hrs notice.
