How to transform your peri-menopause and menopause
About this event
Menopause, once spoken of in hushed tones, is now hitting the headlines with well known women sharing their advice & experience on TV, Podcasts, books etc. Armed with all of this new information we should be fully informed & ready, right? Or, are you overwhelmed & confused? Or perhaps you’re trying to figure out if this could be peri-menopause or menopause, or if it is something else?
We are delighted to invite you to our next Coppa Supper Club where we will discuss all things women's health. We will introduce you to Dani Binnington, unbiased menopause guide and all round wellness warrior who will debunk myths, share evidence based facts and will help us look at menopause in an open, empathetic and non-judgemental way.
Dani believes that it is possible absolutely to have a positive menopause experience! "Menopause is not a THIS or THAT approach nor is Menopause your symptoms alone”.
About Dani
At 40, wellness expert and yoga teacher Dani had to make the tough decision to have her ovaries removed and start on what seemed like at the time, an ominous and instant journey through menopause.
Dani was already a breast cancer survivor and wellness warrior, who was diagnosed with the big C at the age of 33 and with 3 kids under 4. She underwent a double mastectomy and aggressive rounds of radiotherapy and chemotherapy to beat the disease and came out of the experience on a mission to carve out a healthier lifestyle for her family that was FULL OF rather than free-from, as many other wellness channels were prescribing.
The result was her award-winning blog Healthy, Whole Me and The Superfood Supper Club, her life-changing cooking classes that encourage families to find the joy in healthy food.
"Managing menopause diagnosis is a totally different ball game, depending on who you are, what your needs are and what you want. The majority of women I speak to say they have little to no support, many have been mis-diagnosed. Almost all of them tell me they feel very isolated. And all of them say they need help in some way!"
