Stoke-on-Trent is at the forefront of integrated energy systems in the UK with a number of energy schemes planned in the near future. Amongst those is the District Heal Network (DHN) for which Stoke-on-Trent City Council has successfully secured £20M funding. Once completed the DHN will be one of the largest low carbon scemes in the UK.
The council is taking a citywide approach to addressing the need for change to generate, supply and manage an integrated energy system within the city. During this exciting time there will be a number of interesting opportunities for business within the area to become involved and be part of this change.
