This online half-day course will explore how support and supervision can empower and challenge staff to excel and thrive in their work.

Learning Outcomes

  • Clarify the four main functions of support and supervision and explore some of the tensions that can arise.
  • Identify who the main stakeholders are.
  • Introduce the four elements of the supervision cycle and consider how to use this cycle to promote reflective supervision and avoid over-focusing on any single function.

It will be especially beneficial to anyone providing support and supervision who wants to review the balance and focus of the supervision they offer, either at an individual or organisational and policy level.
