Is there parking nearby?

Yes – free parking is available at the Highbury Park car park (off Shutlock Lane). It’s a short walk to the Orchard from there.

What facilities are on site?

We have a compost toilet at the Orchard. Handwashing facilities and drinking water are also available in storage containers. There is no running water or electricity onsite

Question 3

Do I need to book in advance

Accepted Answer

Yes please – booking helps us plan for numbers, materials, and safety. We can accommodate drop-ins but we like to be prepared.

Question 4

What do I need to bring/wear?

Accepted Answer

Clothes suitable for the outdoors (we run sessions in most weathers!). Waterproofs/warm layers depending on the season. Sturdy shoes or boots. A water bottle and any snacks you might need.

Is the space suitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs?

Accepted Answer

The Orchard has natural, uneven ground, so it can be challenging for wheels. Some areas are accessible, but if you have particular needs, please get in touch before your visit and we’ll do our best to support you.

What about the weather?

We run in most weathers! If there’s extreme weather (very high winds, storms, or ice), we may cancel for safety. We’ll update ticket holders by email or via our whatsapp group.

Question 7

Can I bring my dog?

Well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome in the Orchard, however during organised events we ask they stay at home due to some of our audience being nervous around dogs . Please clean up after them if you visit at other times. Assistant dogs are welcome at sessions.
