About this event

  • Event lasts 1 hour

School holidays can be a stressful experience for a child with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC).

Children with ASC thrive on routine and familiarity and the start of the school holidays means your child having to cope with lots of changes. This can leave a child with ASC feeling anxious and stressed which can often result in challenging behaviour as they may have difficulties articulating their feelings. Children with ASC can enjoy and benefit from the new experiences that school holidays bring.

The key is to plan ahead.
