An online event to hear from Hastings activists who have taken part in Lift the Ban protests against the proscription of Palestine Action.

SUPPORTING PALESTINE, OPPOSING REPRESSIONWhy are people from the Hastings area willing to risk arrest and imprisonment? What happened on the day? How can the rest of us show our support? What else can we do? Hear too about other roles taken by local activists on the day in the form of welfare and communication support.Join us to hear the stories and experiences of a diverse group of people from the Hastings area who held up signs to oppose genocide, support direct action for Palestine, and oppose the UK government’s repression of protest. We will hear their reasons for taking part and what they went through on the day.We recognise that this form of action is not right for everyone.
