Supporting Students with Sensory Differences

This 60-minute online workshop is tailored for school and early years staff who want to deepen their understanding of sensory processing and learn practical strategies to support students in the classroom. Participants will leave with practical, evidence-informed tools and strategies they can use to create supportive learning environments for children with sensory processing differences.

Session Format

Delivered online via Microsoft Teams, the workshop combines slides, spoken input, and opportunities to ask questions through the chat function. Please note that advice cannot be given about individual children during this session.

This workshop is led by an Occupational Therapist from the Sensory Processing Service. This workshop is suitable for teachers, teaching assistants, SENCOs, and early years staff who want to develop a stronger understanding of sensory differences and learn practical, evidence-informed strategies to support students effectively in the classroom.
