<h4>New for 2024!</h4> Are you in a caring role in either your personal life or work/voluntary position? Do you struggle with the demands of caring and the impact it has on your wellbeing and mental health maintenance? Do you really want to take care of your mental health but feel like you don’t have the time, energy or know how? If so, give yourself the gift of our new course which has been designed with you, the supporter, in mind. The course is packed with advice, tools and strategies to enable and empower you to sustain your own wellbeing whilst still being able to give to others. Duration: 3 HoursVirtual Platform: Zoom Am I eligible for this course?<ul><li>This course is only available to those aged 16 or above who are currently living and/or working in Devon, Plymouth or Torbay.</li><li>Participants will need to access the course via Zoom on a device with a working microphone and camera. To ensure the wellbeing of everyone attending, all participants will be required to keep their camera on for the duration of the training.</li><li>This is an entry-level course; no previous training or experience is required.</li></ul> What happens next?<ul><li>After booking your ticket, a place on the course will be reserved for you and you will receive a confirmation email from Eventbrite allowing you to add the event to your electronic calendar.</li><li>You should recieve a reminder email and then a second email with joining instructions. These emails will be sent from training@petesdragons.org.uk containing the course Zoom link for your session. Please do check your Junk / Spam folders. If you would benefit from receiving this email earlier, please let us know.</li></ul> What if I can no longer attend?<ul><li>If you are no longer able to attend the training, please let us know as soon as possible so that we can try to offer your space to someone else.</li><li>This course has been kindly funded by Devon Community Foundation but does require a minimum number of participants attending on the day for it to proceed. ‘No shows’ can result in courses having to be cancelled without warning, wasting other participants time and vital public funds, so we really appreciate any notice you can give us.</li><li>You can cancel your place by contacting us on 01395 277780 or training@petesdragons.org.uk. Alternatively, your order confirmation email from Eventbrite will contain a link to view and manage your booking directly.</li></ul>
