Please note this event is for 18+ only.Anoosheh Ashoori is a British national who was arbitrarily detained and imprisoned in Iran following his arrest in August 2017. He was subject to torture and other ill-treatment during pre-trial detention. In October 2018, Anoosheh was sentenced to 12 years imprisonment and was held in Tehran’s notorious Evin Prison. He was released in March 2022.This powerful exhibition which will take you through the years Anoosheh spent in Iran’s notorious Evin prison, from his first time in the interrogation room, to daily life with other inmates, time spent in solitary confinement, his family’s campaigning back home, and life after his release.
