Join our discussion about our new Sustainability Plan

Following the recent publication of the <a href="https://www.york.ac.uk/about/sustainability/strategy/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">University of York’s 2021 - 2030 Sustainability Plan</a>, YUSU has organised an open forum event: to give everyone the opportunity to add their voice to the conversation around sustainability at York. We welcome all UoY staff and students to come along and find out more about the Sustainability Plan, how it will affect life and work on campus and beyond, and to hear from our panellists about the wider array of sustainability initiatives that are planned and already taking place. This introduction will be followed by a Q&A session encouraging the audience to guide the discussion by sharing their questions, thoughts, and suggestions with the panel. Attendees can submit questions at the event and in advance as part the ticketing process, and we really want to hear what you have to say!The panellists include:Charlie Jeffery, Vice Chancellor and President of the University of YorkMatthias Ruth, Pro-Vice Chancellor for Research, Chair of the Sustainability Working Group Richard Walker, Interim Assistant Director of Campus ServicesJoan Concannon, Director of External Relations, Co-founder and Director of York Festival of Ideas Ioan Fazey, Director of Strategy for the Department of Environment and Geography, and Professor in Social Dimensions of Environment and ChangeBen Vulliamy, Chief Executive Officer of YUSU
