South West and Wales Women in AI and Data (SW*AID) invite any women interested in AI and data to attend our AI Bites Lunch and Learn.
Our speakers will provide a range of first-hand AI insights and learning points, to help members of the SW*AID community improve the way they utilise a variety of AI tools. As always, there will be plenty of opportunity for knowledge sharing and discussion amongst the group.

Laura Gemmell
Laura is the founder of Taught by Humans, an AI and Data education company. Laura is passionate about making technology work for everyone in society. A self-described data dork who exists at the intersection of tech and education, Laura brings her mix of industry, academic, and teaching experience to Taught by Humans.
How to Prompt Better
Laura will give a hands-on workshop on how to prompt better - using methods to get the results you want, and a set of use cases were ChatGPT (and other AI chatbots) really excel and can add value.
Tia Collard
Tia is the founder of fiftyminds, building custom solutions that integrate AI into the processes of SME’s. A self-proclaimed AI nerd, she's passionate about showing businesses how practical and accessible AI can be. Tia enjoys translating complex AI concepts into language everyone understands.
Linking ChatGPT and Zapier
Tia will demonstrate how the backend of ChatGPT can be connected to automation tools like Zapier to get more useful results and workflows.

Yes, we are providing lunch - make sure to add any dietary requirements when you sign up
We recommend you bring a device (laptop is usually better, but phone would do) as the talks will be more like workshops. But you are also welcome to just listen along.
Yes - both talks will be suitable for total beginners. And we will ensure the content allows everyone of all levels to get something from the workshops.
Yes. This event is intended specifically for women, as we are focused on addressing the underrepresentation of women in AI and data. We do run other events that are open to all genders, and we encourage everyone to get involved in those.
