Swallowing Matters Training (Cardiff Community Resource Team)

Hands-on training with SLT Team for Care/Nursing Home and Community Care Staff in Cardiff.

This training session will provide you with knowledge and practical skills in:

-recognising signs of swallowing difficulties

- understanding and preparation of different diet/fluid consistencies in line with IDDSI framework

- using various techniques and assistive strategies to support with eating and drinking

- basic understanding of feeding with acknowledged risk decisions
