Small Wound Assessment and Management for Paramedics
Small Wound Assessment and Management for Paramedics (SWAMP) course will enable you to assess and manage wounds in the community.
Brought to you by SECAmb and your local APP-UC Team! The course will give you the opportunity to learn some extra skills and get more hands on with your patients' wounds.
This course will go through the variety of wounds and show you new closure techniques including tissue adhesive/glue, steri strips and dressings.
Band 6 Paramedics are eligible as a NQPs with 3 months or less until band 6 qualification. NQPs can apply to use DART days to attend.
- Please bring your iPad and Trust ID card
- Uniform is not required
- Certificates will be issued
