Swanscombe Peninsula Co-Design Workshop
Join us in person to shape the future of Swanscombe Peninsula together at this hands-on co-design workshop!
Swanscombe Peninsula is a really special and unique place - located along the River Thames. Today, it is in part a serene and secluded landscape, and in part a busy industrial area with regional significance.
Tibbalds, together with Imagine Places, have been commissioned by the Ebbsfleet Development Corporation to speak to the diverse, local communities around Greenhithe, Swanscombe, Ebbsfleet and Northfleet to understand how you use the peninsula today, and what you think should happen here in the future. We will be running a Co-Design Workshop with local residents to help us shape this understanding and set out some shared outcomes for the peninsula's future.
We are committed to creating a local park within the peninsula, that is a 'landmark green space for Ebbsfleet, pioneering the sensitive integration of development on the peninsula with an open estuarine ecological park' as stated in Ebbsfleet Garden City's Implementation Framework.
If you live or work nearby and want to get stuck into this process - sign up to our Co-Design Workshop!
- 1:30-3pm, Saturday 7th February 2026
- Church Road Hall, Swanscombe, DA10 0HE

At the workshop, we will help you to understand the Peninsula in more detail. We will work through ideas for the future of thePeninsula together with you, identifying what needs to happen today to help us get there.
