What are the opening times?

Accepted Answer

The event will be open from 09:00-10:00 for a quiet hour followed by general entry until 16:30.

Question 2

Can I get a carer ticket?

Accepted Answer

We are able to offer one free carer ticket on entry at the sales desk entry when accompanying an attendee who requires extra help. Please make yourself known to the event staff on the customer service desk, who will issue a carer entry ticket, provided you have the evidence listed on our website.

Question 3

Do I have to arrive at the time slot on my ticket?

Accepted Answer

We will be releasing tickets in batches for given time slots. If you purchase a 10:00 AM slot then you can arrive any time from 10:00 AM. If you purchase an 11:00 AM ticket then please do not arrive any time before 11:00 AM as you will be asked to return from 11:00 AM onwards.

Question 4

Do I need a ticket for children 4 and under?

Accepted Answer

Children 4 and under are free and therefore do not need a ticket to enter the event. We removed the ticket option for under 4's this year to avoid confusion.

Question 5

Is photography allowed?

Accepted Answer

No prior notice or special permission is needed to bring a camera to the event. Want a picture with or of a cosplayer? ASK FIRST!  Most cosplayers will be happy to have their picture taken but please do respect their right to say no if they do not wish to have one taken.

Question 7

Can I purchase tickets on the day?

Accepted Answer

There are 2 options for purchasing tickets:

1: Tickets can be purchased online via Eventbrite

2: You will also be able to Pay on the Day at the Stars of Time Entrance within the LC complex.

*Please note, tickets purchased on the day will be slightly more expensive than online*

Can I purchase tickets from someone else?

Accepted Answer

Please note that scammers are in operation who may be selling fake goods online. To ensure your tickets are authentic please only purchase directly from Eventbrite using the links on the Stars of Time website or directly from the entrance on the day.

Question 9

Am I allowed to re enter the event if I leave?

Accepted Answer

Once your tickets have been handed in or you purchase entry on the door you will have your hand stamped. This will allow you to re-gain entry throughout the day.

Question 10

Are you running a quiter hour?

Accepted Answer

We will be running a quieter hour from 09:00-10:00. This is to provide a more comfortable visit for those with autism and other sensory requirements to enjoy our exhibits in a less crowded environment. *Only a limited number of tickets will be available so please book early to avoid disappointment*

Question 11

Are there rules on cosplay?

Accepted Answer

Stars of Time Comic Con reserves the right to reject or confiscate any weapon or prop if it is deemed possible to cause harm or offense.
This includes items such as:
-Metal blades, Guns (airsoft, BB, paintball), working projectile weapons, laser pointers
power tools (drills, chainsaws) etc..
