The Thread Republic Pop-Up  Sustainable Textiles Community Hub will be open Nov '22- Feb '23 at, Unit 18 in Huddersfield's Piazza Shopping Centre, with a wonderful mix of  workshops, a textile Scrap Store, sewing machine hire, socials and more.

In collaboration with <a href="https://www.upcycle-fashion.co.uk" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Upcycle Fashion</a> and <a href="https://www.fairandfunky.com" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">fairandfunky</a>, join us for their ever-popular clothes swapping event hosted at our pop-up Textiles Hub in Huddersfield Piazza! Update your wardrobe with Swap &amp; Sew - a free and sustainable way to give your wardrobe contents a revamp! Haven&#x27;t attended before? This is how it works:1. Gather up your unwanted items of clothing2. Bring your clothing to the Textiles Hub between 11am and 3pm3. Join an upcycling or mending workshop and enjoy a brew4. Swap your clothes to create a whole new wardrobe!Healthy &amp; Safety: during the workshop part of the event, everyone will have their own materials and tools. Sanitiser and disinfectant will be available. If you feel unwell please let us know and stay home.The space has level access. However, the toilet is down a few flights of stairs.
