Festive entertainment disguised as an educational and informative demonstration of advocacy skills

If any further tickets become available we will update this on our Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts so please keep an eye on these for any updates**</h3>SYLA has teamed up with this year&#x27;s intake of devils from the Faculty of Advocates to provide some festive entertainment (and education). The star-studded show is not to be missed this festive season. The Dean of Faculty Gordon Jackson QC will feature as Santa Claus. Santa’s defence team will be headed up by none other than the most famous criminal defence lawyer in Scotland - Donald Findlay QC who will have a team of Elvish helpers including Cameron Smith (Devil) and Adam Black (Devil). Prosecuting this legendary figure will be Roddy Dunlop QC who will be accompanied by Chris Miller (Devil) and Nicholas McAndrew (Devil). The star witness for the prosecution will be Twinkle Toes (played by Antonia Welsh – Devil). This year’s Devils will also make up the Jury of the International Christmas Court. The charges against this legendary figure will include inter alia breaches of the Elf &amp; Safety (Scotland) Act, the Festive Dishonesty Act and contraventions of the Sleigh Flying (Scotland) Act. Tickets are £5 with proceeds being donated to Edinburgh Children’s Hospital Charity.There will be a wine reception following the trial and an opportunity to network.
