Date: Friday 13 June 2025 Time: 11.00am – 1.00pm Location: David Dale Gallery, 161 Broad St, Glasgow G40 2QR_________________________________Time Based: Sonic InterventionsA festival of experimental music by Ukrainian and UK artists exploring the sounds that shape us, move us, and disrupt our world.Time Based: Sonic Interventions is a festival of experimental music, sound art and cross-cultural collaborations between Ukrainian and Scottish artists. With a focus on the imperative to speak out and have your voice heard, the festival offers a unique platform for collaboration via live concerts, sonic happenings and audio-visual installations – weaving together the rich cultural heritage of both nations. A talks and public engagement programme further encourages audiences to pause, reflect, and connect, to demonstrate solidarity in the face of aggression and to engage with the beauty and danger of sounds beyond our control. To delve deeper into the themes of the festival, free talks &amp; engagement programme will feature discussions with the artists and curators, as well as a works featured at <a href="https://www.daviddalegallery.co.uk/" title="https://www.daviddalegallery.co.uk/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">David Dale Gallery</a>. On Friday 13 June we will host a [synonym| session - a facilitated group writing session that will concentrate on the collaboration between the collective force that is Photinus Studios &amp; Scottish composer and sound artist Zoe Irvine. The rest of the public areas are on one floor with no steps, and there is an accessible toilet. Free parking is available on-street, and the nearest train station is Bridgeton, which is on the lower level track out from Glasgow Central.
