Unicef NEXTGen London is a community that incubates members’ creative and unique ideasto fundraise, advocate, and educate their community. Alongside full-time careers, they alsoprovide skills and pro bono consulting in support of Unicef’s work in Syria and the region. Setup in 2014, the group now lead the initiative across Europe and have raised £2m forUnicef's Children of Syria Appeal, resulting from of a series of diverse fundraising events and initiatives,including the highly-successful#CookForSyriaandMIGRATEcampaigns.

Unicef's Next Gen London in collaboration with Think-Film Impact production and National Geographic invites you to a special screening of The Cave. Oscar nominee Feras Fayyad (Last Men in Aleppo) delivers an unflinching story of the Syrian war.For besieged civilians, hope and safety lie underground inside the subterranean hospital known as The Cave, where paediatrician and managing physician Dr Amani Ballour and her colleagues Samaher and Dr Alaa have claimed their right to work as equals alongside their male counterparts, doing their jobs in a way that would be unthinkable in the oppressively patriarchal culture that exists above.Following the women as they contend with daily bombardments, chronic supply shortages and the ever-present threat of chemical attacks, The Cave paints a stirring portrait of courage, resilience and female solidarity.The event will be hosted by Unicef Next Gen's Catrin Nye and Jamie Bartlett. Arrivals from 7pm and the film with start at 7.30pm.
