In Waltham Forest, communities live well alongside each other. Yet across London, hate crime is on the rise. Hate crime is under-reported. Every day hate causes harm to the victim and the wider community.

How we can work to counter hate crime and hate speech? What are the challenges of this work. The 3 speakers are from local projects working to tackle homophobic, transphobic, disablist, racist and islamophobic hate crime.

There will be an opportunity for discussion and questions.

Refreshments from 6pm.

The Library is 50 metres from Walthamstow Central Underground, Overground and bus station.

Parking in Selbourne Walk car park.

Accessible venue. Speech to text reporting.
