<h3>SYNOPSIS</h3><p>Living through the COVID-19 Pandemic would have looked and felt very different without access to digital technologies. Indeed for many, it absolutely did. 
</p><p>The progress many of us made to move our lives online was not universal. COVID-19 exacerbated the inequalities that already existed in society, between those who can access and reap the benefits of digital technology and those who can’t – or feel they don’t need to.
</p><p>The UK’s digital divide has fast become one of the most important measure of modern inequality.
</p><p>This event is an opportunity to hear from the BCS and IET Presidents, explore the role of professional bodies and how individual members can make a positive impact to close the digital divide.
