Tackling the skills gap: AI and us
Event Information
Description
The UK government is ranked first globally for AI readiness, but with twice as many jobs in artificial intelligence as there are suitable applicants, it risks falling behind.
Up to around 30% of existing UK jobs are susceptible to automation from robotics and Artificial Intelligence (AI) by the early 2030s, but in many cases the nature of jobs will change rather than disappear, according to research by PWC.
How do we infuse today's workers with the skills they need to adapt and thrive tomorrow?
To help us answer this, we are delighted that Regius Professor Dame Wendy Hall, who led the recent independent government review on AI, has agreed to be our keynote speaker.
Dame Wendy will be joined by Harvey Lewis, Associate Partner at EY, Heather Savory, Director General of Data Capability at the ONS and other special guests.
The event will combine a series of short talks, briefings and a panel discussion, with plenty of time for networking.
We look forward to meeting you at this invite-only event.
