UFCIC: Tai Chi for BeginnersThis is a 6-lessons-course co-hosted by UFCIC and ZiJinLau. The course is recommended for people who have no / little experience but are interested in understanding and learning Tai Chi. This is also an opportunity to establish wellbeing lifestyle and community. Tai Chi is a gentle form of martial arts combining deep, diaphragmatic breathing and flowing/dancelike poses, recommendable workout for all ages. Tai Chi has been found to improve practitioners’ balance, muscles strength, cardiovascular endurance, pulse rate, muscular flexibility, immune system, insomnia. Getting the balance of Yin and Yang, Tai Chi helps to improve the “Qi” and in turn enhance concentration and decision.Dates: July 16, 23, 30, August 6, 13, 20 (Saturdays)Time: 9:30am -10:30amVenue: Battersea Park, SW11 4NJCosts: £48 (6 sessions, non-refundable) All course fee collected after costs will be donated to UFCIC to support migrants integration, preserving culture and contribution to the local community.
