Taiji, Nei Gong and Qi Gong 12 week course starting on 22 September 2025.

We will learn the choreography of movements of the Yang style Taiji, incorporating the Nei Gong of the Water Method as passed down by Daoist Masters for millenia.

In order to truly bring alive your Taiji from the inside out, and to experience the yin yang duality in a tangible way within your physical and energetic bodies, we will learn internal Nei Gong threads associated to the Wood element.

What you will learn over 12x 75minute classes:

  • Taiji form - Yang style
  • Open and Closing the body Nei Gong
  • Yin yang fundamental energy flows
  • The Kwa as the internal engine to generate physical motion
  • Exercises to tap into and mobilise qi inside the body
  • Foundational Qi Gong
  • Standing Qi Gong and Meditation
  • Daoist Breathwork

These group classes involve breath work practices and learning Qi Gong and Tai Chi movements. As with any movement practice there is always a risk of injury. By attending this course you accept personal responsibility for your own health and safety throughout the classes and waive all liability towards your teacher, Javier Martinez. If you are experiencing health issues, ask your GP or a medical professional before joining.

If you are currently experiencing acute pain or injury, or are currently pregnant, it is recommended you learn in 121 sessions.

Javier has over 25 years experience in Martial Arts, including 10 years of Tai Chi and Qi Gong practice. He teaches Qi Gong, Nei Gong, Movement, Yoga, Boxing, Self-Defense and Calisthenics in London and online.
